De Haviland DHC-6 Twin Otter

The DHC-6 Twin Otter is renowned for its short take off and landing (STOL) capabilities and is a capable utility aircraft.

‍The Twin Otter is non-rated aircraft in Australia however the newer -400 series does have a comprehensive avionics suite.

This course pairs well the PT6 Engine Series course. The PT6 being a type rated engine.

What you need to know,

This is a combined course, for both B1 & B2 engineers, and is delivered similarly to a type course(without the licence outcome).

‍Course Length »

  • 1 Weeks for the theory.

  • Practical training as required.

Theory training will be conducted Face to Face in a classroom, with Practical training completed on the actual Aircraft.

Pre Requisites »

This course is designed for either B1 or B2 Engineers, holding a CASA Part 66 licence or are close to gaining that licence.

Course Completion »

On successful completion of the course, a certificate of completion will be presented to the learner.
